God's Directive To Us: "Walk In MY Wisdom"
Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.
You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my
enemies; for they are ever with me. I have more understanding
than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation.
I understand more than the ancients, because I keep Your
precepts. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
(Psalm 119:97-100; 105 ; NKJV)
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to
the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has
chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and
God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the
things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the
things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which
are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should
glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who
became for us wisdom from God - and righteousness and sanctifi-
cation and redemption - that, as it is written, "He who glories, let
him glory in the LORD."
(I Corinthians 1:26-31 ; NKJV ; bold emphasis ours)
Dear holy, Creator YHVH God, through Your Word You created
all things. Praise be to Your glorious name. Move us to walk in
Your wisdom. Help us better understand we have, in Your Word,
more wisdom than our enemies! Help us walk - in our actions -
in this perspective: We have more understanding than all our
teachers who do not honor Your testimonies! Help us to live
consistently as we take our daily steps, in alignment with Your
Truth - that we understand more than the ancients! And THANK
YOU, Lord, that it's Your Truth - not ours - which allows us to live
in humble confidence and that this confident demeanor is available
to anyone who is willing to submit to Your worldview perspective.
Lord, free us from the bondages of darkness by illumining our
minds to Your high ways! Please do so for YOUR glory and
praise. In the name of Your beloved Son we pray, amen.

Communication Is Good !
And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren,
"Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you
cannot be saved." Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no
small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul
and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem,
to the apostles and elders, about this question. So, being sent on
their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria,
describing the conversion of the Gentiles, and they caused great joy
to all the brethren. And when they had come to Jerusalem, they were
received by the church and the apostles and the elders; and they re-
ported all things that God had done with them. But some of the sect
of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, "It is necessary to
circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses."
Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter.
[ Then, a letter (that is, further COMMUNICATION) went out ... ]
Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to
send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and
Barnabas, namely, Judas who was also named Barsabas, and
Silas, leading men among the brethren. They wrote this letter by
The apostles, the elders, and the brethren, to the brethren who
are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: Greetings.
Since we have heard that some who went out from us have
troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, "You
must be circumcised and keep the law" - to whom we gave no
such commandment - it seemed good to us, being assembled
with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved
Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives for the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have therefore sent Judas
and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth.
For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you
no greater burden that these necessary things: that you abstain
from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled,
and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these,
you will do well. Farewell.
So when they were sent off, they came to Antioch; and when they
had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.
When they had read it, they rejoiced over its encouragement.
(Acts 15:1-6 ; our commentary ; 22-31 ; NKJV)

Father God, my how Your revelation has kept us on track! Thank
You for communication in general. Help us, Lord, to be willing to
further communicate (even in the setting of debate) whereby Your
Truths are highlighted in such a way which promotes our listening
to Your Word - a light unto our path and a lamp unto our feet. And
Lord, if this debate should take place, please open the eyes of our
hearts, too! Do so in such a way that fosters obedience to You
concerning our being prepared and ready to meet the challenges
ahead. In the name of Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ we pray.

God's Precious MERCY In Times Of Trouble
Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens.
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters,
as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes
look to the LORD our God, until He has mercy on us. Have mercy
on us, O LORD, have mercy on us! For we are exceedingly filled
with contempt. Psalm 123:1-3 (NKJV)
Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, because His
compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your
faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22, 23 (NKJV)
LORD, during these days and the soon-coming hellish days of the
war against Your Saints in Jesus Christ, have mercy upon us. Give
us resolve to walk in Your Spirit and abide in Your Vine. May we be
faithful Ambassadors to the end. In Jesus Christ's holy name, amen.
Week of 7/23-27 (B30;18)
Sincere Expressions Of Faith
But Lord, be merciful to us, for we have waited for you. Be
our strength each day and our salvation in times of trouble.
The enemy runs at the sound of your voice. When you stand
up, the nations flee! Isaiah 33:2, 3 (NLT)
Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and
you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then
many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate
one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive
many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many
will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
Matthew 24:9-13 (NKJV)
Precious Shepherd, please guide Your needy sheep during these
most challenging times. Supernaturally empower Your Saints in
Christ Jesus to continue loving to the end. Help us, LORD, we
pray. Blessed be Your holy name. Amen
Week of 7/30 - 8/3 (B31;18)
PRAISE From Those You Have Touched
For I know that the LORD is great, and our Lord is above all gods.
Whatever the LORD pleases He does, in heaven and in earth, in the
seas and in all deep places. ... Your name, O LORD, endures forever,
Your fame, O LORD, throughout all generations. For the LORD will
judge His people, and He will have compassion on His servants.
Psalm 135:5, 6, 13, 14 (NKJV)
You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for
You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.
... And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under
the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard
saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits
on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!"
Revelation 4:11 ; 5:13 (NKJV)
Glorious Father God, You alone are God. Thank You for expressing
Yourself so perfectly through Your Savior - Everlasting Father! We
praise You for Your Son, Jesus Christ the LORD. Thank You, too,
for the JOY and PEACE You so graciously and abundantly impart
to Your adopted children in Your Son. Grace us, please, with lives
which shine Your light as we keep in mind we will, one day, give
account to You. It's through the dear name of Christ Jesus Your
Son that we bring our prayers before You. AlleluJah

Responding As God Would Have Us Respond
And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam
became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam,
and there she was, a leper. So Aaron said to Moses, "Oh, my Lord! Please
do not lay this sin on us, in which we have done foolishly and in which
we have sinned. Please do not let her be as one dead, whose flesh is
half consumed when he comes out of his mother' womb!" So Moses
cried out to the Lord, saying, Please heal her, O God, I pray!"
Numbers 12:10-13 ; NKJV
[ Jesus Christ speaking ... ] "You have heard that it was said, 'You
shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, love
your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate
you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that
you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise
on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even
the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what
do you do more than others ? Do not even the tax collectors do so?
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Matthew 5:43-48 ; NKJV
Lord God, we pray for our foes who rise up against us. Open their
eyes we pray. May we abide in loving, compassionate mercy toward
our dark enemies and may we continue praying for their change of
heart before it's too late. Thank You for the moving of Your Spirit
which softens hearts as far as You can given Your perfect expression
of love which allows man to choose. Balancing Your eternal Truths
(in our affirming the full Counsel of Your revelation to us) is so
crucial today. May we yield to Your Spirit within us to live in
balance as You define it. Unto Your glory and praise we pray, amen.
Week of 8/13-17 (B33;18)
A Crucial Mindset - Even During The End Of Days ...
Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink;
let me be delivered from those who hate me, and
out of the deep waters. Let not the floodwater over-
flow me, nor let the deep swallow me up; and let not
the pit shut its mouth on me. Psalm 69:14, 15 ; NKJV
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common
to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be
tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation
will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to
bear it. I Corinthians 10:13 ; NKJV
THANK YOU, Lord, that You do not allow anything to come our
way that we cannot handle as we abide in You. May we endure
as we partake in the sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ - Son of
God, Savior. In His name we pray. Amen
Week of 8/20-24 (B34;18)
JOY In Patient Endurance
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing
that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have
its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."
(James 1:2-4 ; NKJV)
Father of lights, we so appreciate Your Counsel. Thank You for fore-
warning us about trials, including both the general ones and the
ones especially pressing during the end of days. Allow us, we pray,
in Your mercy and grace, to walk in YOUR perspective prior to the
initial appearing of Your glorious Son. In Jesus Christ's name we

Oh Come Let Us ADORE Him ...
Give to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering,
and come before Him. Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of
holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. The world also is
firmly established, it shall not be moved. Let the heavens rejoice,
and let the earth be glad; and let them say among the nations,
"The LORD reigns." Let the sea roar; and all its fullness; let
the field rejoice, and all that is in it. Then the trees of the
woods shall rejoice before the LORD, for He is coming to
judge the earth. I Chronicles 16:29-33 ; NKJV
He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let
him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still;
he who is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I am coming
quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according
to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and
the End, the First and the Last. Blessed are those who do His
commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life,
and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are
dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and
idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. I, Jesus, have
sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am
the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.
And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears
say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let
him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:11-17 ; NKJV
Father God, what can we say but You reign! Thank You, oh LORD
MOST HIGH, for all that You have revealed to us in Your Word. We
are grateful dear God Most High. Please receive our thankgivings
and praises through Jesus Christ our Lord, for it's in His name we
come into Your glorious presence expressing these cries of our
hearts. Thank You Abba, for everything. Amen

Continuing In Prayer
Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the
Lord. And she made this vow: "O Lord Almighty, if you will look down
upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will
give him back to you. He will be yours for his entire lifetime, and as a
sign that he has been dedicated to the Lord, his hair will never be cut."
I Samuel 1:10, 11 ; NLT
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for
this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit.
Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good.
Abstain from every form of evil. I Thes. 5:16-22 ; NKJV
(also see Luke 18:1-8)
Father, as Lord God, we are humbled that You would even be willing
to listen to our cries. Yet, in Your loving kindness, You do. Thank You
precious God Most High. Thank You for loving your people in Jesus Christ
as You do. We are grateful. Please keep us on Your straight and narrow
whereby our sins do not cause You to close Your ear to our expressions
of adoration, our confessions, our sincere thanksgivings and our words
of supplication. In Christ Jesus we pray, amen.
Week of 9/10-14 (B37;18)
YHVH God, There Is None Like THEE!
Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; nor
are there any works like Your works. All nations whom
You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord,
and shall glorify Your name. For You are great, and do
wondrous things; You alone are God.
Psalm 86:8-10 ; NKJV
Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is
no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end
from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet
done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure ...'
Isaiah 46:9, 10 ; NKJV ; emphasis ours
Please pray your prayer of response to these precious Truths,
recalling God will indeed bring all of His prophetic declarations
to fruition ... unto His glory and praise.
Week of 9/17-21 (B38;18)
Even So, Please COME Lord Jesus
The earth is the LORD's, and all its fullness; the world and those
who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, and
established it upon the waters. ... Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory.
Selah Psalm 24:1, 2, 9, 10 ; NKJV
When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with
Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be
gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as
a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the
sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
Matthew 25:31-33 ; NKJV
Father of glory, thank You for the double rainbow* recently! You
alone are glorious Creator. We praise You for Your trustworthy
Word. Help us understand we need to walk with You after our
initial regeneration so as to be the sheep You've called us to be.
Please make a short work of the earth; come quickly Lord Jesus.

From Everlasting To Everlasting, Thou Art GOD
"Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You,
glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? You
stretched out Your right hand; the earth swallowed them. You in
Your mercy have led forth the people whom You have redeemed;
You have guided them in Your strength to Your holy habitation.
Exodus 15:11-13 ; NKJV
They [ those who have the victory over the beast ] sing the song
of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,
"Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just
and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! Who shall not fear
You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy.
For all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your
judgments have been manifested."
Revelation 15:3, 4 ; NKJV
LORD God Most High, we honor You as God alone. May You be

Jesus Christ Your glorious Son, in whose name we pray, amen.

God's WORD To His Church Today - Part 1
To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, These things says He
who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst
of the seven golden lampstands:
I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot
bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they
are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have
persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's
sake, and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this
against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore
from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else
I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its
place - unless you repent. But this you have, that you hate the
deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. He who has an ear,
let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who
overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the
midst of the Paradise of God. (Revelation 2:1-7 ; NKJV)
Oh LORD our God, we exalt Thee. You alone are God Most High
and there is no other. Father, thank You for loving us as You do.
Thank You for loving us to the extent You graciously bring (to Your
people in Christ Jesus Your Son) warning. We are so reminded
of the book of Jude which also lovingly extends warning to those
whom You have called, sanctified and preserved. Lord, may You
work the good works in us which return us to our first love. We
confess wayward moments, Lord. We confess these times, claim
Your generous forgiveness - I John 1:8-10 - and go on to cry out
to You for Your help to live our lives in Your Son in ways that
please Your great name. Yes, Holy Father God, we want to
be like Your Son in whom You are well pleased. Thank You
for Your Holy Spirit's enabling to those who are baptized in
You. We are sincerely grateful for this, Your gift to us! In
Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

God's WORD To His Church Today - Part 2
To the angel of the church of Smyrna write, These things says the
First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life:
I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and
I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not,
but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not fear any of those things
which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw
some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have
tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the
crown of life. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit
says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by
the second death. (Revelation 2:8-11 ; NKJV)
Father God, Your Word is amazing. In the spirit of thanksgiving,
we express sincere thanks and praise for Your grace in being so
willing to lead us through Your precious Word. Help us, Lord, to
follow in the footsteps of those who have gone on before us. Help
us, Lord, to endure to the end. And help us to do so with a grateful
heart knowing the sufferings of the days ahead will not even be
able to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us IF
we but endure. Help us, Lord, to follow Your Counsel to the end,
knowing it is those who overcome - even faithful unto death - who
will not be hurt by the second death. Loving Father, we gladly
serve You as living sacrifices - whatever that may bring. And
thank You for enabling us to live in victory through the sufferings
of Christ Your holy Son as we abide in Your Vine and walk in Your
Spirit. Lord, we PRAISE Your great name. In Jesus Christ we pray,

God's WORD To His Church Today - Part 3
To the angel of the church of Pergamos write, These things says He
who has the sharp two-edged sword:
I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is.
And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in
the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed
among you, where Satan dwells. But I have a few things against you,
because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who
taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to
eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus
you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which
thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight
against them with the sword of My mounth. He who has an ear, let
him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes
I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white
stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows
except him who receives it. (Revelation 2:12-17 ; NKJV)
Precious Father, some Christians act as if Your book of Revelation
is not applicable to Your Church today. Lord, how far from the Truth
that perspective is! Your Word is a powerful two-edged sword. Thank
You for the pertinent Counsel in this book which closed Your canonical
written revelation to us. Thank You for calling us to hold fast! Thank
You for loving us perfectly, even to the extent of disclosing areas in our
lives which still need correction. Thank You for - even two thousand
years after Your Son's similar appeals - calling us to repent. May
we humble ourselves, confess our sins and take the next step of
repentance: change ... may we stop sinning. Lord, all of Your Word
is Truth - Psalm 119:160 - and is forever settled in heaven. Help us
embrace Your perspective as to the truthfulness of Your entire Word,
including Your warnings of eternal consequences tied to the practice
of sin, for these warnings in Your Word are many! Thank You for Your
Spirit's help toward overcoming. May we walk in Your Spirit during
these days of tremendous opportunity. Unto Your glory and praise
we pray, in Jesus Christ's name, amen.

God's Commands To Each And Every One
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed
and in truth. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall
assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemns us, God is
greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart
does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And what-
ever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His command-
ments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this
is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His
Son, Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us command-
ment. Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and
He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit
whom He has given us. I John 3:18-24 ; NKJV
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man's all.
For God will bring every work into judgment, including every
secret thing, whether good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14 ; NKJV
Father, thank You for being ever so clear. You say, even
through Your Son, that we demonstrate our love for You
through obedience. Thank You that this lifestyle is not a
salvation-by-works effort but simply a loving response to
You in our newborn state. Thank You for including in Your
Word an essential command: I John 3:23. We love You by
obeying Your command to believe on the name of Your Son,
Jesus Christ. Help us affirm the full Counsel of Your Word
and live as You have so called Your people to live. Thank
You for Your Son's summary of Your commands by giving
us the two great commandments. We love You by obeying
You. We also love You by obeying Your command to love
one another. Oh precious God of love, we praise You.
Thank You for equipping us with the means to love You as
we should. And thank You for forgiving us when we fall short.
Even so, please come quickly Lord Jesus. Amen

God's WORD To His Church Today - Part 4
To the angel of the church of Thyatira write, These things says the
Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine
I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as
for your works, the last are more than the first. Nevertheless I have
a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel,
who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to
commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I
gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not
repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit
adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their
deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall
know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will
give to each one of you according to your works. Now to you I say,
and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine,
who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put
on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come.
And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to
him I will give power over the nations - 'He shall rule them with a
rod of iron; they shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels'
as I also have received from My Father; and I will give him the
morning star. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit
says to the churches. (Revelation 2:18-29 ; NKJV)
Oh glorious Father in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy
Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
... For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever
and ever, amen. In Jesus Christ's holy name we pray.
Because these passages are SO pertinent for God's Church
in Jesus Christ today, we encourage you to offer prayers tied
to the content in these Revelation 2 & 3 chapters. For example:
Holy Father, You are so clear regarding sexual sins. You have
called us to separate from this world and we bow to the fact that
this includes, among other things, our abstaining from sexual
immorality - of all types. Lord, help us understand You are true
to Your FULL Counsel, Counsel which includes the promise that
those who practice sins of various types will NOT inherit Your
Kingdom. Lord, through Your Holy Spirit's moving in our lives,
help us walk in purity in these days of great unrighteousness.
May we look up, for our salvation draws near. Until that day,
may we abide in Your precious resources in order to walk
fruitfully in You. Lord, may we RUN from sexual sin since
it so pollutes the temples You desire to victoriously indwell.
Thank You, Lord, for Romans 6 and I Corinthians 6! And Lord,
by way of confession, when we fail, thank You for I John 1:9.
What ongoing victory in Christ Jesus Your Lamb Who takes
away the sin of the world, especially (effectually) the sins of
those who, by faith, say "yes" to you and receive His sweet
sin-forgiving provision. In His name - the name of Your only
begotten Son, Jesus Christ we pray. Amen

God's WORD To His Church Today - Part 5
To the angel of the church of Sardis write, These things says He
who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars:
I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but
you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain,
that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before
God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold
fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon
you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their
garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will
not blot his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name
before My Father and before His angels. He who has an ear, let
him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
(Revelation 3:1-6 ; NKJV)
Father God, help us to watch as You, through Your Son, have so
commanded Your people. Help us to honor Your Word and accept
Your Son's warning as to consequences of failing to watch. And
Lord, help us better balance Your Truths forever settled in heaven
and simply affirm the obvious: You call Your people to walk in
holiness and warn against hypocritical Christianity. Thank You
Lord, for Your stern revelation in this church letter, especially
in verses four and five but correction found throughout. These
expressions of Fatherly love are received as such - oh how You
love us Lord God. Thank You for demonstrating that love by being
willing to correct us when we wander off Your straight and narrow.
Allow us, please, we pray, to hear what Your Spirit says to Your
Church today. In Jesus Christ's holy name we humbly pray, amen.

God's WORD To His Church Today - Part 6
To the angel of the church of Philadelphia write, these things says
He who is holy, He who is true, 'He who has the key of David, He
who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens ' :
I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and
no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My
word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those
of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not,
but lie - indeed, I will make them come and worship before your
feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have
kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the
hour of trial which shall come upon the earth. Behold, I am
coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may
take your crown. He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar
in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will
write on him the name of My God and the name of the city
of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of
heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the
churches. (Revelation 3:7-13 ; NKJV)
Blessed be Father God! Oh glorious One, please continue
helping us follow in Your Son's footsteps of faithfulness. Help
us to be those who keep Your Word, who are overcomers,
who are unwilling to deny Your great and holy name. Lord
God, we wish to honor You by enduring to the end. As we
press forward in endurance, keep us, we pray, from the hour
of trial. Yes Lord, help us hold fast in You during these most
wicked days which are upon us today. May we redeem the
Gospel opportunities unto Your glory and praise we pray.

God's WORD To His Church Today - Part 7
To the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, these things
says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of
the creation of God:
I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could
wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm,
and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have
need of nothing' - and do not know that you are wretched, miser-
able, poor, blind and naked - I counsel you to buy from Me gold
refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments,
that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness
may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve,
that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten.
Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door
and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I
will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him
who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I
also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the
churches. (Revelation 3:14-22 ; NKJV)
Holy Father, we contiue expressing our praise and thanks-
givings to You for Your Son, Jesus Christ the Lord of lords
and King of kings. Help us be zealous for You and Your
eternal Kingdom things. Forgive us and move us forward
in a fresh way. We even ask You to help us repent of the
lukewarm state so many have fallen into over the course
of time. Thank You for loving us enough to rebuke and
chasten us. And once again, help us to be the overcomers
You have called us to be. Unto Your glory and praise we
ask these things, in Jesus Christ's holy name we pray, amen

Thanksgiving Past ... Thanksgiving Ongoing
(The following is taken from The One Year Book of Bible
Prayers - November 27th's read titled, "Drinking From the
Fountain of Salvation")
With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of
salvation! In that wonderful day you will sing:
"Thank the Lord! Praise His name!
Tell the world what he has done.
Oh, how mighty he is!
Sing to the Lord,
for he has done wonderful things.
Make known his praise around the world."
This excerpt is a pause of joyful praise in an otherwise frightful
prediction from God's prophet Isaiah concerning Israel's disobedience.
It is the prayer the Israelites will offer to God after he saves them from
their sins. Isaiah compared their change of heart to quenching one's
parched throat at a fountain. Isn't it amazing how experiencing the
dreadful results of sin brings a new appreciation of the joys of
obeying God? [ if we maintain a contrite heart and are willing to
confess and repent when we foolishly choose to go astray ]
The hearts of these newfound believers overflow with thanksgiving
to God for all he has done.
In prayer, thank God for saving you. Ask him to satisfy your
parched soul and renew your spirit.
Dear Lord, I thank you and praise your name. You have done
wonderful things ...

Christmas Cheer For All Of Next Year
The following history is taken from Luke 2 ...
And it came to pass in those days, that there went out
a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should
( And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was
governor of Syria.)
And all went to be taxed, every one, into his own city.
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of
Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is
called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and
lineage of David:)
To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped
him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger;
because there was no room for them in the inn.
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding
in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the
glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they
were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I
bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a
Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the
babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of
the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good
will toward men." (Luke 2:1-14 ; KJV)
Lord God Most High, we can't help but praise Your holy name.
You are so good to us. Even more importantly, You are true
to Yourself - Your fully perfect character and whole Being. We
confess we are nothing and would be nothing without You,
Father God. What a glorious difference You've made in our
lives. Thank You for Your eternally significant Christmas
Gift - Your Son. We break down in awe as we further ponder
who we are in Him. Help us, Lord, in response, to love You
through action - through our thoughts, words and deeds - as
we abide in Your Vine, our Savior. Help us redeem the time -
be it ever so short - as we walk in Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus
Christ's name we pray, amen.

Week of 12/24-28 (B52;18)
As this past year has unfolded, we've seen the following:
~ the further increase in global unrest and rebellion ;
~ the mushrooming of wicked selfishness (for example,
murders - NB: abortion is selfish murder of the most
innocent of all human life; growing hatred toward the
righteous; rejection of personal freedoms graciously
extended to man by YHVH God - e.g., freedoms to
live our our personal convictions before God and man
without state persecution ;
~ the Gospel has gone out to all the world ;
~ while we haven't been able to conduct the Great Debate,
many are better discerning the weaknesses of some of
the more popular end-time viewpoints. (Although this is
true, a discipleship event of this type - like a great debate -
would be most helpful toward promiting a more Bible-
centered eschatological perspective.) ;
~ the moving ahead with the Temple Project plans ;
~ the further setting up of social entrapments (e.g., high
tech tools) which will be used by the one-world system
for censorship and other dark acts tied to persecution ;
~ ususual hatred and animosity toward the One true God.
In all this, Psalm 2 seems like an appropriate close:
Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take
counsel together, against the LORD and against His
"Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their
cords from us."
He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the LORD shall
hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in
His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure:
"Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion. I will
declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, 'You
are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me,
and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance,
and the ends of the earth for Your possission. You
shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash
them to pieces like a potter's vessel.'"
Now therefore, be wise, O kings; be instructed, you
judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and
rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled
but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust
in Him. (NKJV)
